Sick leave is an important and necessary component of employee management. While illness is an unfortunate reality of life, the costs of sick leave are multifold, ranging from sick paid leave to the opportunity costs of lost productivity. Here, we discuss the utility of UV-C protection in reducing pathogenic particle load to help combat one causative element of illness.

We review the potential benefits of selecting an induction-based UV-C lamp and contrast it to more traditional UV-C emitters, such as fluorescent lamps. We discuss the differences in cost, efficiency, and output between these various UV-C emission technologies in the context of usage in a germicidal lamp.

Reducing Viral Load with UV-C Air Sanitization | A review of the Efficacy of UV-C Supplementary Air Sanitization in Reducing Viral Load – Dec 2021

We review the efficacy of using UV-C Air Sanitization in reducing airborne viral load in various capacities. We found that UV-C air sanitization is an effective means of significantly reducing airborne viral load in an enclosed space. This literature review suggests that implementing this technology into existing air filtration and HVAC systems has an important role in indoor health and safety.

This article reviews the chemical process of photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) which occurs when Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) is exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light, and describes the effectiveness of PCO supplementary air sanitization in neutralizing VOCs and harmful airborne pathogens by elaborating on the chemical principles by which the technology works.
